My 2 month doctor's appointment was last Tuesday (April 17th). Everything went well for the most part, at least until the doctor left. I now weigh 12 pounds, 4.5 ounces and am 23.5 inches tall. My growth chart is nothing short of perfect--even my doctor brags about my growth! After the doctor left our room, another nurse came in with many long needles. Mommy told me everything was all right, but I didn't like it one bit! The shots made me quite angry, and I was fussy for the next few days to let everyone know it. I've also had a tummy ache since Wednesday. Mommy has been giving me some syrup when I eat to help me go potty. I'm finally starting to feel a little better.
In other news, I had a really good weekend with mommy and daddy. We went down to Cape Girardeau to visit some of mommy's friends. I slept both the whole car ride there and the whole ride home. I met lots of new people while we were there too! Saturday Amy and Levi made us lunch when we got into town. Then Ms. Amy became mommy's favorite person in the whole world when she watched me Saturday night while mom and dad went out. I got to hang out at my first park at my first picnic Saturday too. I also stayed in my first hotel room. Here are a few pictures from our visit:
